This web portal will help you communicate with the Sumter County Board of County Commissioners about what documents you are requesting.
- A requester is not required to submit their request in writing or in person; nor are they required to disclose the reason for the request. Unless otherwise exempted, a custodian of public records must honor a request for records, whether it is made in person, over the telephone, or in writing, provided the required fees are paid.
- Providing contact information is optional. If you prefer not to provide contact information, please check-in with our office every two business days to provide any clarifying information we may need and to check on the status of your request.
